The AquaCiser ® III Underwater Treadmill System is an excellent choice for the busy hospital, sports medicine or physical therapy clinic, nursing home, or for home use. The AquaCiser is comprised of an exercise chamber, a water reservoir and control console. Temperature, depth, belt direction and speed can all be manipulated from the consoles' touch-screen control panel so treatment protocols are clearly documented.

Water provides resistance throughout a given range of motion, in all places of movement, providing a hydrokinetic exercise. Because water is so much more viscous than air, it is possible to prescribe therapeutic exercise at a relatively vigorous and intense level within a very protective environment.

Patient access in the AquaCiser is exceptionally easy because the water remains in the reservoir until the patient is comfortably situated in the exercise chamber. Water depth can then be adjusted from a maximum of 48 inches down to four inches, allowing the patient to progress from minimal weight bearing to normal weight bearing. Turn-around time is quick, as chamber fill and drain time is only three to four minutes.
